There is a vast variety that fall into the category of outdoor plants. some of the basic ones that you see own almost every where is trees, succulents , flowering plants ,vines etc. some of them can be grown indoors, but they want more sunlight.

According to the National Gardening Association, nearly nine out of 10 American household vegetable gardens have at least one tomato plant. You can never go wrong with a tomato plant like who would not like a fresh tomato that too from your own garden.

Planting:

To plant a succulent or leafy plant like snake or spider plant. You would need a soil based potting mix and plant food. Plants like spider and snake plants does like moisture, these plants does not like being too wet or too dry. These plants needs partial sunlight but can also stay indoors as long as its getting some sort of light. Direct sunlight can damage the leaves and that can result into brown burnt tips. so These plants are easily and quickly grown than other plants. They make your room bright and beautiful and can also be placed outside of your house to make your enterance more attractive.

How to take care of outdoor plant?

In spring-summer ,fertilize succulents and spider plants twice a month to keep it healthy. Most plants die from over watering then anything else. You have to know how to water them , the soil should not be too dry or too wet it has to be in the middle. Watering it everyday will damage the plant. Some plants like cactus can survive without water for almost two months. You will need a pot with drainage holes on the bottom, for the excess water to drain or else it can damage the roots and the plant.
